A Yard of Grass II

Each blade of grass is cut from recycled tin cans as a commentary about consumer waste and over abundance. Only a society as rich as we are could afford to spend as much money as we do on maintaining the green lawn. In addition to the herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers (which are terrible for our environment) the exhaust from leaf blowers and lawn mowers is another form of pollution.

A Yard of Grass is 36" long and a pun on the word yard.
