Copper construction with wood-grain contact paper exterior, painted or nickel-plated trim. This is not a found object but constructed carefully by hand to replicate a manufactured object as a commentary on the value of manufactured goods in our consumer society.
When the door is opened the tiered cake rotates automatically and strobe light flashes continuously. Interior includes model car, bride, groom and 14k. gold 'brass ring'.
