This is one permanent stack of cups made between 2000-2004 as a commentary about out consumer economy. It seemed precariously based on overspending with consuming as social interaction and entertainment. Painfully prescient, our economy fell apart in 2008 and the housing market was the key indicator. This stack of cups with houses floating on the top cup carries more meaning than ever.
