This is also a smaller Flower Pin. The colors and images are more gender neutral. It is four layers of tin petals. The center is a young girl’s face with a boy to the right side. The next layers is a subdued yellow /orange with dull purple lettering. The third layers is an abstraction of old fashioned hard ribbon candy in brown and ochre tin . The background layers is dull brown earth tones to dull oranges from a cookie tin.

The colors and images have a vintage tone. The Flower is small compared to the larger exuberant flowers that I have been making more recently.

The back of this Flower Pin is vintage advertising that says: “Substitution” in earth tones.

A sturdy commercial pin stem is concealed on the back.

Look closely to see the domestic iron stamped into the back which is my hallmark and a tribute to traditional women’s work.

All Flower Pins are one-of-a-kind and there are no duplicates….I don’t even make work in similar colors. Each petal is cut and filed by hand very carefully so it is not sharp. You will be astonished by carefully I fabricate my work. There are no short cuts. Every single detail should be perfect as possible despite the humble materials.

 Yes, of course,  you can try on the pin, but it cannot be worn to any events.

·         Return by USPS in the original packing (or similar packing.)

·         Shipping must be a box. No shipping envelopes.

·         Return shipping is at your expense.

·         Refunds will be a full credit towards another purchase. The purchase price includes taxes paid.
