‍ “Reading is a Scream” Flower Broch with a lemon- yellow center and super interesting squarish petals.

This Flower pin has a bright lemon-yellow center with pinked zig-zag edges to the domed center. The next layer says “Reading is a Scream” printed on the tin from “Goosebumps” in yellow text, teal and hot pink background;. The background layer is a dark teal green tin from Manischewitz gefilte fish lid. All post consumer tin. The final layer is yellowish with square petals. You will be surprised at every level. The squarish petals are slightly rounded edge and smooth.

This flower pin is a lot smaller and simpler…. it was an earlier example, but as time goes by the pins get bigger. You could easily combine this with other pins which is totally on trend. Every other year, or so, I make new Flower pins so they pins evolve over time.

The Manischewitz gefilte fish lid is a rare use of lids. They are super difficult to use, but in this case, it looks great. The colors match perfectly.

The primary motivation is combining layers and tin cans that were never intended to go together.

BACK of the Flower Pin is a skeleton reading a book tin. Look at the close up of the back to see my iron hallmark on the back of the book. The pin stem is artfully concealed.
