Ripe and Luscious, Peak of Perfection comments on the adjectives and narratives that describe women in mass media and advertising as seductive, satisfying, and pleasurable. Women are often used to sell food and drink and associated with the satisfactory and thirst quenching properties of the product, thus making it unclear if the advertisement is selling a product or the idealized idea of a woman herself.
