from the Series: The Deceiver and The Deceived
Mirror and frame constructed from pre-printed steel from recycled tin containers, aluminum rivets. The center is a "mirror" of steel. It is reflective, but it is not shiny. This entire series of mirrors is about the difficulty of comparing ourselves to the idealized beauty in our consumer society.
The frame is an elaborate and detailed quilt pattern of small pieces.
