Frame of Reference: Consuming Good Taste is from the Series The Deceiver and The Deceived. This is one of my favorite pieces from the series. The frame looks to be coming apart. If you recognize the reproduction of a Renoir painting on the tin cans, does it mean you have good taste? Or does it mean the food inside the can tastes good?

Every backside of my wall art is interesting and intentional. Here, the back is a collage of recycled tin cans. I prioritize the back of the wall art despite it not being visible when hung because of my jewelry background which has trained me to consider all angles and sides of the work as equally important and integral.
